Regardless, one of the things that would help in that regard is if they could sort out the leadership question quickly. Getting the election out of the way sooner than later might be better for the LPC's chances in the wake of this anti-Trump sentiment anyway.

There's a path for the LPC that includes tying Poilievre to Trump, but they need to be careful not to just label CPC supporters as deplorables. I'm not sure the LPC can resist doing that, though, based on past performance.
