Maybe Sam O'Reilly? 44 P in 45 GP in his D+1 year? He's being outperformed by Jaden Linpinski in his D+1 year, and Lipinski was ranked 19th in Flames prospects last offseason. I doubt he has much more value than Savoie, only being that he's younger.
Beau Akey? The 7th defenseman on the abysmal WJC Canada roster? Only on the team because he was nearly 20? I doubt any Flames fan would trade any of our top 6 defensive prospects for Akey 1 for 1. That's how little value he has.
That's it. The rest are projecting to be AHL middle 6 at best. 29th ranked prospect pool is being generous because maybe Savoie defies the odds and becomes a marginal player. They'll be filling the team with overpaid UFA's for years.
