I really like the idea of Cozens. With the Flames trending to not come close to bottoming out in the next 5 years, he might be the best bet for the coveted top center.
But like everyone is asking, wheres the trade fit? How would Buffalo not want a Zary or a Coronato? Andersson sounds like a no go anyway. If Buffalo were to settle for futures, I think what Buffalo would want, would be a bit too rich for the Flames.
Only thing working in Calgary favour would be the list of potential suitors I think is actually smaller than what is being reported. Sure 75% of the league has called about him, but how many teams are willing to bring in a fairly underwhelming player for that cap hit?
