I think he gets a few games and then the flames have a hard choice as he’s likely going to get exposed on the defensive side.
It just doesn’t feel like the flames MO for development to let him go before he develops his defensive game. They seem to be teaching players to be defensively responsible first when they transition into the AHL and then let them open up when they figure out the defensive piece.
Parekh is special so maybe they work with him differently, especially if it means sending him back to the OHL… this is also where resigning Andersson remains important as he can help Parekh transition his game, and cover up on his errors.
