Canada does have some pretty challening geography, so almost by default, it is much easier to send goods South as our North/South routes are much easier to move things. But in the long term, it has resulting in complacency and now a somewhat high dependency on the U.S. I'd like to say that had the Country been able to develop other methods to move our more valuable commodities to ports that can export to other countries that Trump would not be imposing these Tariffs. But that would give him too much credit because he never will know or care to know what's going on outside of his own demented mind.
Not much point whining about the past, need to focus on what can we do to better secure our future.
