Friendly reminder: we didn’t ask for any of this. We’ve attempted to ALREADY be amicable and friendly with our 2018 new trade deal with Trump, which he heralded as the best trade ever. Our government attempted conversation with Trump but he hasn’t answered his phone since the inauguration. So, kept in the dark, he claims “there’s nothing we can do” to stop these tariffs.
So, while trying to be a diplomatic country, it appears that it isn’t working. So, you best have the understanding for someone calling out the bull#### that is. He just happens to be in a wheelchair. So be it.
edit: I’ve seen your posts in the american thread, you said it yourself, you’re not a patriotic canadian and couldn’t care less about this. You said it yourself, prepare the annexation talks. At this point, your opinion now carries no weight. Are you a psyop campaign?

Canada had nothing to do with the negotiations in 2018 with the USMCA. If you recall, or care to go back to research, Canada were not permitted into the negotiating talks, despite repeatedly trying to gain access. Instead, Trump negotiated directly with Mexico, then Canada were instructed where to sign. The terms were dictated to us. If that isn't weakness, what is? No wonder Trump is stomping all over us now.
