And they were the first to pile on Smith for not being a team player trying to protect Alberta’s interests. I know for a fact Horgan had a stack of legal opinions that said his attempts to stop TMX grossly exceeded provincial jurisdiction, yet he refused to stand down and after costing the parties millions in legal fees was ultimately slapped by a unanimous decision of his own BC Court of Appeal. So I could care less about the inevitable hit to the BC economy.

Years ago Jack Mintz pitched a national utility corridor along the border with the NWT that would have put this country on a path to prosperity but of course the idea was rejected immediately.

Canada has been a country that refused and continues to refuse to get out if its own way and now we are all going to pay dearly.
