So with that in mind now the plan really comes down to strong asset management and strong drafting.

On the asset management front there isn't much to get mad at so far. They've moved out UFAs (Hanifin, Lindholm) and older players that still had some term (Toffoli, Markstrom), and they've brought in picks and U-25 players.

Drafting so far looks really promising with a good 2023 draft and a potentially franchise changing 2024 draft based on how good those guys look this year.

Really they have some assets left to move in Andersson, Coleman and Kadri over the next two seasons, and still have 2 1sts this year and 2 1sts next year.

They will need to figure out how to get that top center, but otherwise things are in good shape IMO.
Andersson is the big piece for sure. I don't think the package would be huge but hopefully a 1st and 2nd or a 1st and prospect. Potentially nothing if he re-signs.

Kadri with 4 years left might be movable if they eat salary but I wouldn't be expecting any significant return.

Coleman eating salary I think would help his value. Coleman at a reduced salary maybe a 1st but probably more likely a 2nd.

The Vegas 1st is the wild card. They still look pretty strong this year so who knows.
Jersey 1st I'd expect to be high.

I think that all amounts to some good depth but again not sure the likelihood it will amount to star power. Maybe they can find a way to package it.
