I'm not sure Microsoft themselves want to put GamePass on PlayStation. The whole reason they're putting games on PlayStation is to actually sell some copies. The market has more or less rejected the GamePass model and proved that they still want to buy and own games but they're roped in to continuing to support it (for now).
