Luke Kunin has some of the worst 5v5 possession stats in the league.
He isn't even a replacement level player.
Rooney sucks, yes, but he is a better defensive player than Kunin (barely).
Kunin gets his head caved in every shift and isn't buried in defensive zone starts the way Rooney is. Even just as a PK/4th liner guy Rooney is better.
And Rooney sucks badly in that role. So that tells you how bad Kunin is.
