I was really optimistic when they signed Lowell Wright midseason. He ate some U21 minutes and his profile as a striker is really appealing. He’s got that big body and relatively soft feet. But I feel like his fitness never really improved and he just wasn’t mobile enough. I thought at the end, his only role was to come on when you were leading games near the end so we could lump balls up to him and he could try to hold them up.But he wasn’t super effective at that either. Will be interesting to see where he ends up. I can see why he got a lot of attention early in his career because there was huge upside there and probably still is.
