Everyone loves Lomberg, but the plain fact is he's just as bad at hockey as Rooney, plus he doesn't play centre or PK.
There's no one to replace Rooney at centre right now. Kerins was just not good enough on the draw and like it or not, faceoffs are a big part of coach's decisions these days it seems. When Zary comes back Rooney is out I bet. You can have:
Huberdeau-Kadri-Pelletier
Coronato-Backlund-Coleman
Kuzmenko-Zary-Sharangovich
Lomberg/Hunt/Kerins/Strongren/Bishop-Pospisil-Klapka
Pelletier can replace Rooney on the PK.
