The Eagles are an elite team and deserve to be here. No question.
That said, you look at the teams they've beaten to get here - Packers, Rams, Commanders. To me, none of those are elite. Good teams yes, but not elite. (And the win over the Rams was blizzard-aided)
Contrast that to the Chiefs who beat an elite team (Bills) who themselves beat an elite team (Ravens) the prior week.
The Eagles have a lot going for them, but the Chiefs have people to whom the term "proven winners" is a massive understatement. Those people just know how to win. If the QB of the Chiefs was anyone other than Mahomes, I'd be putting money on the Eagles. But betting against Mahomes is a fool's errand.
As for the Bills and their fans, it's simply a matter of bad luck. The Allen era just so happens to coincide with the Mahomes/Reid era. You're not going to win much when possibly the greatest QB/coach tandem in league history is standing in your way.
