I'll be honest all the complaints about the tush push play and the spot are annoying me today.
I don't want to get rid of the tush push and make it illegal like some do...but I'd love if they some how removed forward motion as the rule on QB sneak plays like that.
For the endzone I'm okay with breaking the plain, but on that tush push yesterday the ball actually ends up 2 yards behind the line of scrimmage when Allen is tackled.
Feels against the spirit of forward motion rule to me on these sneak and tush push plays, as an offense if you want to get in a rugby scrum...then where the ball is when you're down is where it's spotted.
It's probably also why I can't blame the loss on that play...pick a better play that leaves no doubt and doesn't end with you down two yards behind the first down line.

That's kind of my point.
They are so good as a team that they have a great offensive mind in Reid, and the guy that's probably still the best QB in the league when he wants to turn it on...and they rarely have to turn it on because they are good on Defense and Special Teams.
Like I wouldn't be surprised at all if we see some new wrinkles in the Super Bowl with Hopkins, Hollywood Brown, Watson, and DSS that they haven't had to break out yet because they haven't had to because I think they've rarely been down by more than a score in any game lately.
