I'm not sure how you'd do this, but my first instinct is that doing this wirelessly is not going to be possible without a stupidly expensive upgrade to the network hardware, network software/computer/controller and board. I think the most reasonable options will have to be wired unless the idea is a costly upgrade to everything.

EDIT: I think the easiest "guide" you can look over to get an idea of what the project might entail, would be an AV set up for churches. Look at the sections for what is mentioned for upgrading from an older AV set up to a newer one that has the ability to be more wireless. Again, I don't know the details about it as I've never been involved in an AV upgrade project, but I think there's a reason why they're always seemingly over budget and take weeks/months of non-stop work to implement. I've also seemed to recall many stories of getting something passable, but then having no choice in going much closer to 10K for the set up the AV/IT guys really want to upgrade to.

I suspect wireless to main board is going to be one of the bigger challenges, but there will be many other challenges as well.
