Not a highly desired city to live in when compared to most other choices, a locker room that appears toxic, and an organization that's been floundering for a decade and a half now.
So even if they are lucky enough to find some NHLers in trades that don't have them blocked with trade protection, those players are likely not going to be thrilled to be traded to that dumpster fire and will be more likely contribute to the toxic environment than help dig them out of the hole they've dug.

Hopefully that forces them into accepting futures, if they feel that they really need to move on from Cozens. I think he would pop here.
