This is why the leugue said nhl players shouldn't and were not avaliable for the Olympics in years past. At least the Olympics there is some prestige in playing in the Olympics. A millenia of pride vs a money grab if injured. There's earned pride in a tradition vs a corporation wanting more money on there take. I know I know the ioc is corrupt now and no better but If I was a player and had the choice between participating and ruining my career vs a 1 off event for the 4 nations...
