Nobody is doing this. It's possible for two things to simultaneously exist:
a) areas where people speed often with little impact on safety i.e. Stoney Trail, built to a design speed of 110 kph, where traffic moves at 110-120
b) areas where people speed often that have a significant impact on safety, i.e. the playground zone next to my house

People don't even slow down for our playground zone. I have lived here for 2.5 years and made 7 complaints about speeding. Any time it's over 5 degrees there are kids out here. Not once have they responded, I have not once ever seen a cop here, and it is not and has never been a photo radar zone.

Explain to me how photo radar sitting 24/7 on Airport Trail is more beneficial to safety than somebody giving a damn about the utter disregard for playground zones when kids are constantly around.
