I've had more than my share of photo radar tickets, though not in the past few years. My reaction was always "welp, yep, I guess I was 14 over", except where the location was clearly bull####. Like coming off 14th st onto memorial where it's 50 for 2 blocks before becoming 70 and you have to speed up quickly to safely merge onto memorial. That one always irritated me, think I got nailed there twice.
So yeah, people's complaints are valid, it's not so much the tickets themselves as the cash grabby locations.
