The Islanders have been playing well of late, they've won 6 of their past 8 games including the 3-1 victory over the Flyers. Nelson and Palmieri each with 2 points. The Flyers are not good on the second game of back to backs, they are 1-7-1. The win puts the Islanders 6 points back of the 8th place BJs in the eastern conf.
