This is true for all major sports. Fans are not happy with the refs in any of them.
NFL - fans are upset every game about penalties.
NBA - fans are upset every game about fouls.
MLB - fans are upset every game about balls and strikes.
All those games require subjectivity and the human element. As long as the human element remains, there will be no "accountability".
