So wouldn't be surprised at that at all.

Miller is the interesting one because I feel like if they fired Tocchet he'd stay, their relationship seems to have clearly soured due to his treatment and frequent benchings this year (think Miller feels like the scapegoat).

And Pettersson doesn't seem to get along with Tocchet either.

And the funniest part of it all is Tocchet is a lame duck coach with no contract past this season...so not sure why you'd be making long term player decisions based on him being the coach.
You may be right about Tocchet v Miller (who really knows!), but Dhaliwal has said multiple times that Miller is a Tocchet guy, and he is a guy in the know.

Regarding Tocchet being on an option year after this one, he is a Rutherford guy, so that will also be interesting to see what not only Tocchet chooses to do, but what Rutherford would want to do with Tocchet. Hughes is on record saying that Tocchet is the best coach he's every played for, so there's that to consider as well. If Tocchet doesn't return next season, there will be plenty of interest out there I would have to think, so he probably isn't worried and it'll come down more to if the team can turn things around this season or not, I think.
