Are there more reservoirs in that area? Old Man is basically dried up, and the rest of the region has been completely dependent on the creeks & rivers being served from snow pack in the rockies.
Strange enough if you go to southeast Alberta in areas like Cardston, Taber, Lethbridge, etc....the St Mary's Irrigation district is much more setup to provide larger water needs. But I guess the access to basically free natural gas is an issue there.
