Way back in the day, I saw a Flames alumni vs. Calgary Fire Dept. charity game. At one point, the firefighters lowered a 4' x 6' sheet of plexiglass from the rafters and blocked their goal with it. The goalie stood beside the net, casually leaning on the post and watching pucks bounce off the glass.
