Nah the faction was an issue too and never had a good purpose beyond it's initial fued with the Elite...but once that happened (back in May 2023) that faction continued on and on for some reason.
It limited what you could do creatively with all those guys (Danielson, Moxley, Cesaro, PAC) in the singles division.
Forced guys that should have been a big part of your singles divisions across your titles into lots of multiman junk matches or random fueds.
In terms of Mox...it seems weird to say but I actually feel like he fits back in HHH's WWE more than he does AEW right now. He feels like he would fit well into this whole Drew / Seth / KO / Cody / Sami / Roman / Punk top of the card they have right now, and just stylistically that he would work well with what they are building there. He really seems like a "square peg" in a divsion where he's the main heel and your faces are Copeland, Jay White, Darby, and Orange Cassidy.
And to give Mox a break...he's been junk...but AEW having no believable faces that act as a good foil to him in their main event scene right now doesn't help things either. Omega, a redeemed Hangman, or maybe even Swerve (if they didn't bury him post his title loss) would probably have worked better than what they've tried to do here.
