I agree it is likely a "gimmick" to "display" them that way but it is also literally
the most fries for the money
and really great quality, fresh cut potatoes fries of any fast food chain.
The word gimmick to me suggests that they are actually shorting you and convincing you you're getting more. Where as they're over portioning relative to the industry. I would say marketing tactic over gimmick, myself.
