Trudeau is still leader right now and has said he will only resign once a new leader is chosen. He has not resigned yet. He could do a reverse uno and just decide to stick around.
They are still all part of the same party and have a country to run and they are swinging at each other on national TV while calling current policies they enacted as garbage.
What a total debacle, and some folks here actually prefer this over an election and potential of someone else taking over.
