I don't think it's corrupt to protect people from baseless prosecutions and retaliations when the incoming guy has repeatedly stated he's out for revenge.
If it was just those people then maybe, but pardoning other people who Trump has said he's after like Fauci and the J6 Committee and Milley makes it look more like extraordinary actions for extraordinary comments by the incoming president.
I don't see it as corruption, I see it as a sign that their system is fundamentally broken and he's doing something that will result in a greater good.

Most MAGA have no idea that Trump not only did it but got a $1,000,000 PAC contribution from them afterwards too.
So appearances almost don't even matter any more when people just believe what they're told to believe.
