Yet the Oilers are 75.2% on the PK. Is Ryan enough better to be worth adding his salary?
It's clear the Oilers' PK was much better last season, and true, Ryan was on it. Either Ryan has fallen off in the past year, or he wasn't the straw stirring that particular drink, or a combination of both.

Rooney and Duehr are both on one-way contracts. They earn their full salary no matter where they play. The cash being spent is adding Ryan's contract.
