Well worth seeing if you're into Eggers.

I thought it was as great movie viewing experience. I'm pretty much the opposite of what Bs&Cs posted earlier. Thought the cinematography was quite pleasing to see and the sound along with it. Not sure where plasticky set design came from, this wasn't Barbie-level set quality. I thought the settings more than looked adequate and dirty enough. I distinctly remember the first day-scene in the count's castle and thinking how dusty and run down it looked. CGI was more than fine.

Nosferatu just isn't that great of a story though. You probably couldn't do it much better than this if you want to do a faithful version, but it's still kind of a mess.

I agree the story was probably the weakest part. Not that it was bad, but it was basically the story of a vampire so obsessed with blowing his load in some random married girl who cried out to him in her dreams, that he ends up suiciding himself for it? Strange stuff, but the rest was pretty interesting.
Overall I thought it was really good and it's worth viewing in theatre for the sound production. Seems to be one of those love or hate if films. Wife didn't like it and fell asleep at some point lol. The other couple we were with were also split 50/50 on liking it.
