Not quite... average is about 9k. Still double CPL, but the majority of teams running closer to Forge/Cavalry/AO/HFX levels of attendance (or less) with a few bigger ones. Essentially, its CPL if you added in Whitecaps and CF Montreal.

Also, A-League brought in marquee players early (Del Piero signed with Sydney in 2012, or roughly year 6 of Sydney's existence), and I would contend with the league entering year 7, playing the largest teams in North America in tournaments, claiming all 8 teams are "financially healthy" publicly to potential cities, and hoarding a suspicious amount of CSB money (that certainly isn't showing in Valour's public financial statements)... its time to get a lot more serious than a $1m salary cap roughly adjusted for inflation.
