Regarding the comments about fans still calling for a bottom 10 finish...
They are still plenty close enough for that to happen - it would just take a 4-5 game losing streak and they would be right there. But the likelihood of that is now smaller, because they have changed the goalie deployment.
While they were sheltering Wolf, and splitting the games, the possibility of a bottom 10 finish remained not only possible, but still maybe even probable. But since Dec 14th, they are playing Wolf 60% of the time. If they continue to do that, there is little to no chance of bottom 10 (unless injuries and trades completely derail them). And no trades are coming, as long as they are in the playoff discussion.
