Based on his production, I don't think he'd retire this season though. Guy is a machine.

Ovy seems to genuinely enjoy playing hockey. After seeing the way he played in his first few season in combination with his love for partying, I'm shocked that his body is holding up the way it is. His skating slowed down from his first few years for sure, but them seemed to plateau and he doesn't look like he's totally slowing down.
I always thought he'd go back to Russia for a few victory laps. With everything going on there now, I don't see that happening.
I could see Ovy sticking around and pushing for 1000 goals. If he's putting up 30+ goal season post-40, that'll make his records impossible to beat....I guess until we develop some kind of anti-aging tech.
