Calgary would like to move forward with a team trying to make the playoffs if at all possible. With Wolf playing the way he is, it's given them hope.
They just won't sign guys for the sake of signing them, they will put a limit on contracts. Who knows if they will go 8 years with Andersson?
But they will move him if they cannot sign him.
Look to the examples of Lindholm and Hanifin. Try and sign, and only them trade.
