One time I was in Poland and had a shower at a hostel that was just a big room with other dudes. It actually wasn't weird, so I guess I have done it, but thinking about it now...I'd honestly just go home to shower still. Just too strange to elephant walk around a change room starting at this age, I guess.
First time at a Japanese Onsen is also an interesting experience. From the pre-wash station to strolling over to the bath with a wee towel, to strolling back, etc. And usually being the only non Japanese person. Once normalized it’s no big deal but until then…
