It was always going to be uphill for whoever ended up winning. But, if he drags the party more centrist, that’s a CPC problem. Just yesterday, Singh was creaking the door open to prop up the Liberals, and to me that would be another issue for the CPC (if Carney wins).
I think a Freeland win is a complete loss for the Liberals and she can’t distance herself from Trudeau.
