Well saying the "government can't do anything right" is mostly true, even a broken clock is right twice a day. But there is a massive pile of evidence to suggest that is correct.

As far as career polticians go, I am willing to bet that if you had a vote in the 2020 US election, you would of voted for the career politician (Biden) over the whoever ran as a Repulican, so I don't think that matters much to you. So unless you think that Biden's presidency was a total disaster, there is evidence to suggest that your critique is off. Does it apply to Obama too?

Policy is how you should vote.
