Yes, it is very distasteful stuff. But if Oil, or oil and gas generally, can avoid th 25% tariff then Alberta will avoid an economic disaster.
I am not convinced it will work but I can see why someone might think it will.

The retort to that is that Trump screws over anyone he has ever made a deal with. He certainly will not have loyalty to Alberta or Smith. So kissing his ass just delays the inevitable screw job. And by doing that, she screws over our country, which should be, for every Canadian, the actual priority.
