Oettinger signed a 8x$8.25 contract October 2024 that takes effect the 25/26 season. Why should Wolf earn more than Oettinger when he hasn't nearly proven himself the way that Oettinger has?
I agree that you lock him up longterm but Oettinger should be the comparable they're looking at.
