I'm kind of glad you went, its also a nice, old, local place to support.

They've always been super nice people there. Granted I dont think they've updated the furnishings since 1963, but thats neither here nor there.

And you can go to Polcan next door if one is so inclined.
Yeah, it still looks like a time capsule in 1963 and I noticed a lot of people showing up who looked like they'd been patrons since 1963. It was kinda nice, like a throwback to the days growing up in a small town and including the random convos from the servers. Lots of plexiglass still up. I assume it's from the pandemic days and they didn't bother to pull it down.

Food was quite tasty, but not pretty like something instagrammers would love. It's intended to be enjoyed as a pizza, not a Picasso. It reminds me of the pizza places I used to go to for a lunch time treat in high school, all the way down to the damn pepper flakes being slightly too big for the shaker.

The Shirley Temple was tasty, but too sweet. Same price as a soft drink ($4), but definitely I felt like it was more enjoyable diluting it 1:1 (which we did by pouring it into our water glasses). For that price, it's great value.

It's a 30-35 minute drive for me to get there so I won't be going too frequently. But if the stars aligned (pardon the pun), I'd consider grabbing a quick meal from there more often if I'm in that area.
