He was independent when he was the governor though. And hilariously, Poilievre is the guy who wants to interfere with the Bank of Canada. Surely you can’t stand that, wouldn’t support that purely based on partisanship?

And there’s no conflict between having been the governor years ago and being the PM today. Those are all entirely ridiculous assertions you ve made there. The best part is, he was appointed by Harper, and everyone thought he did a fine job navigating the Great Financial Crisis. Maybe he drags the Liberals a little to the right, and that’s why the CPC is so worried.

You know why that wasn’t clear though, right? Because he’s a professional. I know it seems bizarre in today’s world, but there are people who can do their job and their entire identity is “F Trudeau” or some other hyper-political view.
