Kerins has a motor. We know that about him. I'm pretty sure he knows he's NO finesse player and that dirty ugly goals in thr A are gonna be hard to come by here in the SHOW but that grit he has along with a motor that won't quit is what we need.
Can he be reliable ? That's what matters #1 in Huskas eyes. Play the right way don't be a liability and earn icetime through meritocracy.
Don't F up and do what your coaches tell ya and pass guys on thr depth chart by putting in great performances shift by shift by continuing to use that motor , grit and style consistently.
Take a page out of Coronatos book as work work work on the skating, shot, consistency and he'll stays . Cheering for him. He'll be his own worst enemy if he doesn't just keep doing what he's been doing. 22 years old ....he's come a long way in 2 years but had to have these tough trials whichll continue . Hopefully tonite he shines and or isn't noticeable for a good reason.
Man I love these kids coming up in the system but coming from a Wranglers team whose winning pedigree since coming to Calgary finally is showing the value of having both squads in the same barn.
