Obviously, this is cherry picking, but when you look at the way Huberdeau and Kadri have been playing for the last few months now, things look different.
My point is that the Flames can draw a lot from within to become a better team. You can say that about any team. If a team's players aren't playing to their potential, they are not likely to win a championship. So in assessing the Flames contending chances, you also have to look at what their players are capable of.
