I really don't see Vegas being suddenly bad enough for us to get a top pick. The west is so weak that I don't see an implosion coming from Vegas that will knock them out of playoffs.
The best thing to do is to lose as much as possible and hope for that lottery pick to hit. That would be franchise changing, especially in next years draft.
Winning a cup would be possible one day. You need those elite type picks to win and I would be ecstatic.
