One thing I do think is the team isn't great at clearing out the net front, so leading to potentially medium and low danger being more difficult due to screens and traffic.

I've said many times, I have little respect for those high, medium and low danger stats. All shots from the same place are not created equal.
But let me put it another way... the goaltending has been good all season, at times, great. But according to these stats, it suddenly gets lousy when they go on the PK, then returns to good/great afterwards.
Which is more likely and plausible: the goaltending suddenly gets bad when they're on the PK, or the Flames are giving up higher quality chances on the PK? (from all areas)
