Kind of why having our 1st this year would be so good. You have a better shot at trading that 1st and say Andersson to move up. Some of the teams in the top 10 probably didn't expect being there. I am looking at the Kraken, Rangers and Predators and they probably want to get back into the mix next season but not give up an unexpected high 1st.
Even a Chicago, Anaheim and San Jose will want to show some progression next year, especially Chicago.

Thats kinda what I was thinking. Would Ras be worth moving down 10-15 spots for a team like the Kraken? I'd think so. Preds have committed big money to winning now so does a prospect 2-3 years away really help them win with Stammer and Marchesseault?
