They are almost putting too much emphasis on winning the faceoff, which is leading to them starting with Rooney/Backlund as the PK unit since Huska want's 2 centers on the ice to try to win the draw.
But it's actually leading to suboptimal usage because now you using Rooney in way higher leverage situations than he should ever be used in, and guys like Coleman, Sharangovich, Pelletier, etc who are probably better PKers based on history are not on the first unit.

They may be spooked by the low percentages, but like I mentioned Coleman with limited attempts has done well.
It is weird the PK is getting killed the way it is as Huska has always had a good PK as a coach here.
