I'm certainly not in favour of pushing to make the playoffs and forgetting about the long term goals we have. But if we do happen to sneak in, having guys like Zary, Coronato, Wolf etc get an early taste of NHL playoff hockey would be a great thing for their long-term development.
A nice bonus if we do happen to make it.
