A+
Wolf: This would be a bottom-5 team without Wolf. He masks so many problems. Dustin Wolf's rookie season results are the most significant development since Johnny Gaudreau's rookie season. Just like Johnny proving he could do it at the NHL level, Wolf doing the same is franchise changing.

He is 11-2-1 on home ice with a .936 save percentage. That is absolutely unreal as a rookie goalie. He is the only top tier skill on this entire team. He is single handedly keeping the Flames "mid".

A
Zary: 2nd season, 1st as centre. He's been stable at the position, and is showing offensive smarts. Unfortunate injury, but he's taken on more responsibility and while he's struggled at times, I've seen everything I'd have hoped for in Year 2.

Coronato: Great season. His shot is lethal, but also his ability to find open ice as well as chase the puck down in the neutral zone have stood out.

Weegar: Our best defenceman.

B:
Kadri: Producing at a good enough clip. The team seems to go as he goes. When he's not producing, the team is generally not producing.

Andersson: Excellent start to the season, but has cooled off a good deal. Leadership is on display. Please trade him.

Backlund: Steady as she goes. Typical first half for Backlund.

Pelletier: Would be a C, but I think he stepped up last night and that's not insignificant. His play has been trending in the right direction.

Lomberg: He delivers everything you could ask from his portfolio.

Pachal: He delivers everything you could ask from his portfolio.

C:
Vladar: Typical Vladar season where you think he's been better than what he actually has been - but he hasn't.

Pospisil: Notable step backwards for Pospisil. He's almost not a pest at this point.

Honzek: Not enough games played. He has looked better this season than what I thought he would.

Coleman: Significant step back from last season, and it really shows last year is a massively outlier. He's on pace for a fairly typical Coleman season. $4.9M for a solid 3rd line winger. Could be a B, but settles in at a C.

D:
Bahl: Big, and has shown strengths, but ultimately I'm left questioning if he's a Top-4 on a good team. I think he's a bottom pair guy. Bahl + Pachal would be a good 3rd pair

Sharangovich: He has shown almost nothing. He's playing at a 26 point pace.

Mantha: No risk signing, no reward player. 7 points in 13 games could have resulted in it being a decent signing. He was invisible at times, and would produce at times. I think that's just Mantha.

Huberdeau: 60 point pace, $10.5M will never be acceptable. Yes, this is the best he's looked but it's still nowhere near good enough. He is producing at 60% of what his salary dictates he should be. When you look at him and his salary vs. the league, there's just no downplaying this. If he can get this to a 70 point pace, he'll be a "C".

F:

Kuzmenko: Player of no consequence.

Hanley: Player of no consequence.

Kirkland: Player of no consequence.

Rooney: Player of no consequence.

Barrie: Player of no consequence.

Duehr: Player of no consequence.

Miromanov: Player of no consequence.

Bean: Player of no consequence.
