We are going to need strong leadership off the ice as well. And, with the strongest of leadership on and off the ice, we are going to need some really great luck, strong scouting, etc. A lot of things are going to have to come together to make this a successful rebuild. We need to put the right people in core positions to give us the best possible chance to succeed.
This is not unique to any other rebuild by any other team in this sport or any other!

We have that with Huberdeau and Weegar. Heck Weegar is also working on the new building.
Lomberg is here as well. Coleman is still signed for 2 more years. Backlund is here next season at worst half season.
After they leave it’s time for Zary and Coronato to take over.
